Mini Mate Diary

Yeay a new friend of mine! I bought myself a new mini-mate-diary (that is what she called herself) and I love this new friend. She has so many cute things inside her. Well, I did not really need this thing, but I already planned to get myself a diary, so this sin is forgivable :P

Well today I supposed to have a kind of holiday because I only had one class today from 8 to 10 and I planned to go to buy things, after that going back to dorm and get a nice afternoon nap. But I at last did not because I was at Yidelu until 6 pm, buying so many things that we need for Christmas celebration.

I ate a lot for lunch. A-L-O-T. After having lunch at Meity's house, me, Natalie and also Meity went to West Holiday, getting some tickets and after that we took the bus right away to Yidelu.

Guess what, just after we got there, we went straight to KFC and ate again! And what even worse is, we bought a party-meal set (which had sooooo many chickens inside) and we ate those all. I really should stop this eating-disorder habit :P

Look at these two evil girls who ate those poor chickens. Haha. I did not have any dinner today, just so that I will be able to forgive myself for this kind of guilty pleasure.

Actually I am not supposed to be blogging now. I am going to have a test tomorrow and I have not studied anything. Beside, tomorrow I also have to do the sharing thing at COOL and I haven't prepared yet.

The countdown. Christmas celebration "THE ONE" is 11 days to go. Jiayooouuu!

By the way, today is the last day of November. When November started, I told him to be good to me, but he did not act that good, so I wished December will do well. What about you? What are you hoping for this December? Remember, it will be the last month of 2010. Happy go lucky, guys!

Wait, what am I still doing here? BELAJAR SAS!

Day Twelve

"A photograph of the town you live in."

I actually planned to put Guangzhou Tower to this question, but later I thought now everybody keeps paying attention on that skinny tower. So I changed my mind and put my choice on this building. This is Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall.

Do not ask me who Sun Yat Sen really is, because I am not really sure about it. I went to this place, taking about half an hour bus trip, got there, taking pictures for about five minutes, and then go home because we do not know what to do here. I am not so sure about what this place is for, but what I know is they used this place for any exhibitions, and also for concerts. When I came there, I saw a poster that said Air Supply was going to have a concert there.

December is already in front of my eyes and I can see her waving hello at me. Me personally is not ready yet for her coming. Christmas celebration is 12 days to go.

Good luck Sas! Keep praying, do the best and let HIM do the rest :)

Day Eleven

"What’s in your makeup bag?"
PASS. Another question I am gonna skip. I do not do makeups and I do not have any makeup bag. Not even one. Yes of course, I am still a girl, but again I don't do makeups. No other explanations.

One World One Dream

What do you see in this picture? Well, what I see is a superhuman. A person who struggles for her life even though she is a little bit different from the other people. But actually, she is not different from us. We are all the same. We all lived in the same world, we all lived in the same dream.

Today I got a very lucky opportunity to go to a special school. It was the school for the disabled people. The reason why I went there is to have a training of Asian Para Games 2010 Volunteer. Oh, I haven't tell, maybe I am going to be a volunteer again for the Asian Para Games. But I am not so sure yet.

The school is almost the same with a common school. In fact, it was exactly the same. They have classrooms, sports courts, canteen and whatsoever you got at school.

The Teaching Building

The Sports Court. Look at the wall's painting. Cool huh?

I don't know what this room is, but it looks like a place to make garments and clothes. I wonder if they produce their own clothes or what. By the way, at the training, they also gave us a try on how to play basketball, using a wheelchair. Unfortunately I did not get the chance to do it, but I saw some of other volunteers trying, and it looks difficult.

There was many boards at the wall of the hall where we had the training, and guess what's on the boards? It was all sticky notes! I really love to see it! The sticky notes were the notes which the volunteers wrote for the Asian Para Games, or maybe the athletes. It was soooo beautiful (well, at least for me :P).

Dare to try once?

Well, that was my very precious trip to this special school. I today learned how to appreciate my life, for all the great things God has given for me. Today God let me see so many great people. They who really really are super, they who kept fighting for life.

I wished all the best for Guangzhou Asian Para Games 2010, and for all of the athletes, you are all the best. Even before competing, you are all already the winners. Go get gold!

Day Ten

"A photo of your favorite place to eat."

Well this is not exactly a photo of my favorite place to eat, but at least this is a photo we took at our favorite place to eat. Yeap, this is Ma La Tang! Located at the public market, and we always love to eat this, even though this foof is also kinda junk food, but we still love it, also for being cheap haha. Bravo Malatang Club :P

Tiramisu Milk Tea

Who doesn't love holiday? Not me, of course. I thought yesterday was the day of Asian Games 2010 Closing Ceremony so they gave us a day off. Later I found out that today is. Whatever, as long as I still got my holiday :P

I always knew that I am now fat enough, but still, I spent my holiday going to several places, just to find something to eat. I should really stop this habit. Me, Felly and Ko Kurnia went to Bejinglu Pedestrian Street to eat meatballs and the meatballs were soooooo yummy haha. Decided not to do sightseeing there after that, because there were too many people there (this is why I hate going out on holidays). After that, we headed straight to Shipai Street by taking the monorail and some walks, then stopped at a nice small cafe, Ceteler.

Ko Kurnia always told me that this cafe has the best Tiramisu Milk Tea, so I decided to try one. Felly ordered Cold French Chocolate, while Ko Kurnia, still with his favorite Tiramisu.

The Tiramisu was good as what Ko Kurnia has always told me. Felly was happy with hers too. She said that her chocolate drink was super good with her happy face. Haha. Cutie her :3

By the way, the picture of three of us was taken by the owner of this cafe. He was really a nice old man. He told us that he has been to Bali and he always wanted to talk with us. But poor this old man, when he took this picture, his head hit his own serving bar table. Lucky him for not getting hurt.

What do you think about this letter? No, this is not just a common letter. Inside, you will find an invitation of our Christmas Celebration that will be held on December 11th 2010. Me and several friends spent quite a long time, cutting and folding these letters. There were 700 letters, all hand-done.

This event is really making me nervous. I still got plenty of things to be done for this event, while time is no longer that much. I wished I will do well.

Day Nine

"A photo of the item you last purchased."

I bought this sweater from an online shop. This sweater is simple, yet nice. I bought this about 3 weeks ago. That means, it has been so long since I do not shop. By the way, I haven't found out yet what is the meaning of "LUCK THE CHANCE MAY". Anyone?

So Long And Goodbye

This is the last day of me, being the volunteer of the Asian Games 2010. After all bad things I said about being a volunteer, actually it was not that bad. Meeting so many new people, making so many new friends, experienced so many new experiences, all those things are great!

When these all things are done, I bet we all are going to miss the "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner" bus that brought our breakfast, lunch and dinner meal (which I dislike so much) and we (maybe) are going to miss being at the sports center, doing nothing but nothing :P

Here we go, pals. No more excuses for being a volunteer when you wanted to skip classes, no more waking up at 5.30 and also no more "Kun Lun Shan" free mineral water. Get back to our daily life!

Today me, Natalie and Jane went to the bookstore, and I bought a novel which is written in Chinese, the title is "三年K班" while the English title is "Goodbye in July". All written in Chinese characters. I wished I will be able to finish reading this book. Sooner or later. Just so you know, I spent almost an hour to finish reading only about twenty pages of this novel, while for reading Indonesian or English novel, I only took about an hour to finish more than 50 or maybe 100 pages. Haha. Natalie also bought a Harry Potter novel, which was "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone", also written in Chinese. I don't know if she really wanted to read that book, or if she only wanted to make it as her collection of books (she told me she wanted to collect Chinese version of Harry Potter).

By the way, November is almost over and from now on, I got to stay focused on Christmas celebration's preparation. There were only 16 more days before December 11th. Don't you think that time goes way too fast? I can not even catch up.

Day Eight

"A song to match your mood."

"War Of My Life"

Come out Angels
Come out Ghosts
Come out Darkness
Bring everyone you know

I'm not running
I'm not scared
I am waiting and well prepared

I'm in the war of my life
At the door of my life
Out of Time and there's no where to run

I've got a hammer
And a heart of glass
I got to know right now
Which walls to smash

I got a pocket
Got no pill
If fear hasn't killed me yet
Then nothing will

All the suffering
And all the pain
Never left a name

I'm in the war of my life
At the door of my life
Out of time and there's nowhere to run

I'm in the war of my life
At the core of my life
I've got no choice but to fight 'til it's done

No more suffering
No more pain
Never again

I'm in the war of my life
At the door of my life
Out of time and there's no where to run

I'm in the war of my life
I'm at the core of my life
Got no choice but to fight 'til it's done
So Fight on, fight on everyone, so fight on
Got no choice but to fight 'til it's done

I'm in the war of my life
I'm at the core of my life
I've got no choice but to fight 'til it's done

Day Seven

"Your dream wedding."

Okay, I will make this simple. Because this question is about my dream wedding, not what-kind-of-person-I-wished-I-will-marry, so I will not going to talk about my type of boy or anything. Let's stay focused. I am not a party person, so a big wedding reception is not that important for me (at least, for now :P). What will really matter for me is the wedding ceremony. I dreamed of me, wearing that white dress, and I will be the queen for that one day, and he will be the king (of course). Maybe my wedding day will not be so different from what other people used to do when they got married, but I really, really wished that when the pastor says, "You may now kiss your bride.", that kiss, it will be our first kiss. Ohh, do I wish too much?

Dear God, one day, I'll be on a plane to Korea, a nice summer trip with Dad and Mom, all paid with my own money. I will see their very big smile and I am going to smile as they do. Amen :)

Day Six

"A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet."

I'll skip this one. I do not want any pet :P

Four Kisses

Another class skipped. I have been such a bad student. I skipped one class today because me and some friends took a video shoot for our Youth service needs. I now do not even know if my very first priority as a student is to study :(

Another late-night way back home. I got to the dorm at almost 10.30 PM after all today activities. I better not to get used to this or if Mom knows, she will be mad at me :P

Felly and I went to Family Mart to buy tomorrow's breakfast (I hate volunteer's breakfast meal) and as we walked there, we saw a very beautiful night scene. No, no, it was not Guangzhou Tower. Car accident it is. What makes this accident so special is, there weren't only two cars, but FIVE cars! So, if there were five cars and each of them "kissed" the one in front of them, there will be "four kisses". My phone camera was not able to capture all the cars, but I did capture some of the cars.

beautiful, isn't it?

Anyway, I'll be going to sleep now. Got another volunteer shift waiting for me! Good night people. Don't forget to get yourself a nice warm blanket before going to bed because it is going to be a cold night. Happy go lucky <3

Day Five

"A photo of yourself two years ago."

Another old picture. This was taken maybe when I was at second grade or maybe third grade in high school. I am not so sure. I don't really change in two years, do I? But I do get more fats now :(

Dreams Journal #2

It was already Christmas celebration and it was the end of the show. Everybody got their own candles in the hands, and they blew their own candles. After that, everything suddenly changed. It was no longer at the Christmas celebration. It was Asian Games. Some athletes from Indonesia won several medals and I asked some of them to take pictures with me. After that, everything suddenly changed (again). It was the last day of me being high school student. I met all my old school and classmates, and we said goodbye to each other. I wanted to take my last picture with Sania, my high school BFF, but at last I didn't :(

Day Four

"Your favorite photograph of your best friend."
This one used to be my favorite one. I planned to put it in a frame but however I never did because I always forgot to. My bad. This one was with one of my besties in Guangzhou, named Jane Reggievia Santoso. By the way, this picture was taken already a year ago. I remembered it was when our Youth Christian Fellowship went to school canteen and had a together lunch. I really missed my first semester here :')

Day Three

"Your idea of the perfect first date."

He came and picked me up at 6 after he was off from his work. I wore a simple white t-shirt and he was wearing a nice blue one. We went to a supermarket, buying vegetables, fruits, or maybe some sodas. We went back to my house right away after that and we began to cook.

What we cooked were just easy-to-be-cooked foods, because none of us was really good at cooking, but while we were cooking, we talked about many things. He told me how great his family was, what a great cook his Mom was and how was his working day. He also did mention his younger brothers or sisters. So did I. I told him how my day was and how Mom was sneaking behind us to see what we were doing.

Dinner time, we praised each other for being such a good cook and also being proud of the food we both made. I was laughing at his joke, not because it was funny, but just because of his silly expressions and how excited he was when he told that joke.

After dinner, we go to the nearest mini market, and got ourselves two mini cups of nice ice cream. His was Chocolate flavor while mine was Mint Chocolate Chip. We walked our way back to my home and still, talked about anything.

It was nine and he said he was going back home. I waved him goodbye and saw him as his bike was leaving. I got back to my room, changed to pajamas, had my teeth brushed. After that I sat on my bed, staring at my phone. Suddenly a message was received and it said, "I am now already home. Are you going to bed now? :)"

Oh yes, this will be perfect ♥

Dreams Journal #1

Two days ago I read a book called "Letters, Stories and Dreams" which was written by an Indonesian young writer (she was also a blogger) named Cassandra Niki. In some parts of her stories, I found out that she put some of her dreams inside her book, which was written as "Dreams of The Dreamer" (CMIIW). What she wrote there were her dreams, what she hoped she would be in the future, or what she would be doing.

She really did remind me of what I always wanted to do for so long. I always wanted to write down what my dreams were about. But in my case, what I meant about "dreams" is something I went to sleep and saw. I mean, it is the real definition of the word "dreams" itself, while what she wrote was more about her hopes "dreams". So, today I am going to start what I called my own "Dreams Journal" :D

Just so you know, my dorm internet connection has been soooooooo unfriendly to me. Last night, I slept earlier because I couldn't stand any longer with this internet connection (because being without internet at the dorm will make you feel bored to the max!) and in hope that if I wake up tomorrow (which means today), the internet would have got back to normal. But it didn't grr*

Yesterday I slept at about 11 and today I woke up at about 9.30, which means I have slept for more than 10 hours this day. I need this long time sleep because the day before yesterday, I just sleep for about 5 hours and it was not enough for me AT ALL. I bet 10 hours sleep is enough for any dreams, and here I come. I remember 3 points that I dreamed about. Remembering dreams is not that easy and people usually will forget 90% of what they dreamed about, but today I tried really hard to remember them and here are the points that I quite remember.

  1. I met Mr. Yus. He was the father of a friend of mine, Kevin, who is staying at Bali. I met him with her two daughters (which is really strange, because the fact is, he only has a daughter named Karen) and one of her daughters is a friend of mine, in Guangzhou, named Mega. I didn't remember the face of the other girl, was it Karen or not. The thing is, I met him at a shopping center, and he insisted to buy me a present, while I also insisted not to accept the present he wanted to buy for me. I didn't remember the ending, whether he bought me the present or not.

  2. I prepared meal for an occasion, which I forgot what, with my Christian fellowship friends. I remembered there were Darius and Felly there, but I forgot the others. And when I wanted to go to the kitchen to cook, suddenly the place turned to my home's kitchen (which is in Pekanbaru) and the people I met changed to my family. Oh, there was Granny too. And the next thing I remembered was, I cooked soup, egg soup (which Mom always said that it was my favorite soup).

  3. I was cooking at the kitchen, and I didn't know how, a cat was suddenly there. I tried to cast it out, but at last, I got bitten by it. THREE TIMES. I can remember it so clearly. And it scared me so much that I could probably get myself a rabies. Thank God it was only a dream!
Up until now, the internet connection still sucks! I'll save this as a draft first and then save it just when the internet connection is "healed". Wish me luck with my Dreams Journal, guys!

Day Two

"A photo of something you ate today."

This is what I had for my lunch. I found it a little hard to explain what these really are. The white one, of course, is rice, and the other things were Black Pepper Chicken Steak, Eggplants with Pork and Potato with Carrot? Haha whatever! They tasted okay, but not really that delicious. By the way, the green one is yogurt milk.

This set of food was provided for us, the volunteers, and every time we were on duty, they would give us this kind of food for lunch and dinner. Not bad, but yet not really good as well.

Go Go Go Goats!

Guangzhou Asian Games mascots, the goats, are really way too adorable! Today I met three of the goats. Well, there are actually five of them. They were yellow, blue, red, black and green. Looks like yellow is the leader, while green is the youngest of all, which I predicted was the only girl among them. (simply click on the pictures to enlarge)

This picture of the goats was taken by my classmate, Emi, who was lucky enough to meet all these cute buddies at the same time. I wish that I also will have this lucky opportunity to meet them. Haha I am so excited! By the way, meet the cute goats that I met today. They were the blue, the green, and the red :3

What do you think about them? Aren't them adorable? I also saw their figurines at the Asian Games Products Superstore, but they were expensive (for me). Just a set of their small dolls worth about 300 RMB (1 USD was about 6.67 RMB). But I did buy something there. I bought a set of stationery for my lovely nephew, Shane, and I also bought a set of four small beautiful mugs for Mom. I took a picture of the stationery set, but not the mugs. Have a look at it then :)

Ahem. The other great news for today is, I finally met TAUFIK HIDAYAT! Well, "met" is not really the best word, maybe "saw" is better. I saw him when he was going to enter the gymnasium. Beside him, I also saw Sonny Simon Santoso and maybe, a Malaysian badminton player, Li Zhong Wei? Haha I am not really sure if it was really them because I am actually not a really big fan of badminton. But at least, I met them! (Excuse me for always being overexcited :P)

I googled about the mascots of 2010 Asian Games and found the website that will explain to you about who those lovely goats are, and there are also the interesting and fun facts about those buddies! Check this website now by clicking here!

Day One

"A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was."

Haha this expression of mine is stupid but I really like it. I always love candid pictures! Well this is not really a picture of only myself. My friend is in it. His name is Christian, anyway. But the main object of the picture is still me! :P

By the way, this picture was taken on October 7, 2010, during my first trip to Shenzhen, a nice city in Guangdong province, China :D

Ahem about my day, today was fun! I studied at class, of course. But again, I skipped my class haha! Today I skipped my writing class and I went back to my dorm and got to bed. I woke up exactly when my roommates, who is also my classmate, got home after finishing the class I skipped. Please, pals, please, do not try this at home :P

I had my lunch at a nice Japanese restaurant with Natalie (who is my roommate, which I mentioned before) and after that I had my Chinese Literature class at 3. Finished class on 5 and then me and Natalie went to supermarket, buying our personal needs. After that, I had my COOL (Community Of Love) fellowship until 9 and now I am doing my first day of challenge!

Maybe I was explaining my day way too detail, wasn't I? Ohh I am waiting for tomorrow, to do my next blog challenge haha! Well, this is how I act when I get over-excited.

By the way, tomorrow I am going to be on duty again as the city volunteer. I haven't have any plan on what I am going to do. I really wished tomorrow I am going to meet Yong Dae (amen!) or maybe Taufik would be great enough! Keep dreaming, Sas!

"Yong Dae oppa, no kange saa pikchu pikchu?"

This Day's Quote

"When life gave me a THOUSAND reasons to be sad, I'll find myself a MILLION reasons to stay happy!"

No Regret

WOW. Those are the best three letters to describe today. Wait a minute, doesn't WOW only have two letters, W and O? Whatsoever. The most important thing is I am freaking excited today!

Just so you know, today started with magic. Alarm is the only way to wake me up at the morning, but because today I was going to be away from morning till evening, I decided to left my phone charged, so I did not activate the alarm. Before bed I prayed to God and I said, "Dear God, could you please do wake me up at about 5.30?". Well actually I was hoping my roommate would wake me up, but this morning was really really strange, I woke up EXACTLY at 5.30 and I was wondering if God really woke me up Himself. And my roommate, I woke her up and she didn't even get up until six.

I planned to spend my time today reading novels that I brought to kill time because actually, being City Volunteer's job is only to stand at the main entrance, to make sure the spectators have their tickets and your work time is only half an hour per shift. If you are not in your shift time, you are allowed to do anything or even to go anywhere around the sports center. I don't know who started this crazy idea, but Jane and I decided not to just sit and read books. Instead, we were going to stalk on athletes! Haha crazy I know.

Our main target were actually Taufik Hidayat and Korean badminton player, Lee Yong Dae. We even had made plan on where we were going to wait for the athletes. At last we decided to wait around the North Entrance area, where the badminton game was held. After quiet long time of waiting, we didn't actually meet any athletes whom we knew. Well we saw three Indonesian women athletes, and (looked like) a Korea badminton player (whom we also didn't knew and Jane expected him to be Kim-Jun-Whatever haha I even now forget the name Jane told me).

Suddenly, Jane told me she was hungry and she wanted to go to McDonald's to see if we could find anything to eat. I first rejected because I said I was still full. But just the other minute, I felt like going to the toilet, so we decided to go to McDonald's. What I first did when I got there was (still) looking if I could find Yong Dae in the crowd. There were some Korean athletes (written on their sportswear) but there wasn't any sign of who I wanted to see.

Not so long after that, I screamed and surprised Jane with my screaming. "I saw Sutiyoso," I said. And surprisingly, Jane also scream and we both jumped excitedly. I thought we were feeling excited for the same thing, but I found out that there was a misunderstanding between us. She was feeling excited seeing Singaporean athletes (which I didn't know why :P) and I was feeling excited about Mister "Sutiyoso". I was stupid though. I finally found out that it wasn't Mr. Sutiyoso, but it was Mr. Agum Gumelar. I didn't know why but I was sooooooooo freaking excited to meet him. I told Jane, "No matter what, I have to take a picture with him." Okay, I now might sound a little bit overrated, but c'mon, even if you are in Jakarta, your chance to meet such great person is not that big. Hello, he used to be our mister minister!

We started to make plan. I was planning to go to him and directly ask him for a picture. Easy, isn't it? But Jane stopped me. She told me that it would be better if we wait until he finished his meal and I thought that it was not a bad idea at all. So we went outside and waited. When he gave me a sign, which I read as a "I-have-finished-my-lunch-and-I-have-free-time-now" sign. I started to panic and I didn't even know why. We decided to get in (again).

I didn't have any guts to speak to him. And I ALMOST let him go. But I didn't. I chased him outside and I finally met him, face to face, and I FINALLY said these words, "Excuse me, Sir. But can we please have a picture together?" I was so afraid that he would be that kind of what can I say, fierce person? I was so afraid if he was going to reject or anything. But guess what, he was super duper very and soooooooooo friendly guy! He accepted, of course, and he even asked what our name were. I love this guy!

Ahh I don't even care if I looked so fat there. Haha I was so nervous when we took this picture. Believe it or not, my hands were shaking. Stupid, actually, but it was fun. Later, Jane and I realized that we were so over-excited. Haha it's been so long since the last time I felt this kind of excitement. This picture really made my day!

Well at last, we did not meet any of those people we planned to see, but I had no regret at all. AT ALL. Today I am feeling very very happy. Even until we got home in 8.30 PM, I still felt happy! :D

By the way, when we were going to go home, one of the volunteers lost her goody bag and she was panicking. When people asked her what did she have in the bag, if there were anything valuable inside, she wouldn't answer and I am so curious why did she act so. Anyway, the moral of the story is ; never left your valuable (or any other personal) belongings left anywhere unmonitored. Never. Ever.

At the morning of this day, me and classmates also took pictures around the sports center. I also took a picture with a blue goat, one of the mascots of Asian Games 2010. Here they go!

me classmates~

isn't he the cutest guy you have ever seen?

Wedding Dress

Sorry to say, but today I am going to grumble (again) in in this post. Today was just the same tiring day. Class(es) and so on, but today got something different. Today I went to Shi Er Gong with Meity. This place is the place which sells wedding occasion's needs, like wedding dresses, night gowns, and what-so-ever you need for wedding, are available there.

This was the very first time I went there, and we went there to buy Meity's soon-to-be sister in law's wedding dress. It was a very beautiful dress, with flowers and ruffles on the backside. Beside of buying the wedding dress, I also helped Meity in deciding which gown she is going to wear at her brother's marriage. We finally found one, which we hope can match Meity's appearance.

Looking at wedding dress really made me wonder if one day I'll be wearing one of those beautiful dresses. I mean, I am also a girl (ahem), right? :P I planned to try one of the dresses, but at last I didn't, because we didn't really have enough time to fit any other wedding dress. Well actually I really wanted to try some. Hehe. Maybe someday I'll try them. Maybe soon, maybe before I am really going to marry someone :P Well I planned to upload some pictures of the beautiful dress, but I don't have the files anymore because it has been cut to Meity's computer. Maybe next time, then.

The other thing that made me unhappy this day was, after coming back from Shi Er Gong, I met someone and had a serious talk with that person. Well, she is a girl, actually. We talked about many things, and some of them was, she gave me a good advice about how I should really treat people around me. I should really admit, the way I treated people, who are not close with me, is not that good. I tend to give people "mean" look, but actually I did not do it on purpose. I found it hard to explain this, but what hurt me was not the way she criticized me, but it was the time when she finally cried. Not because I scream at her, of course, but she cried because of her feeling about me. Okay, the thing was, she cared about me and she does not want anybody to think in negative way about me. Believe it or not, it hurts a lot more when someone cried because of you, than if you cry because someone hurt you.

I finally promised myself, I will try as hard as I can, not to let her disappointed. I will try harder to be better, for sure. For those around me, for those who love me, and for a better me. Okay, enough for the sadness. The happy thing was, tonight I went for dinner with some of Youth ministry's friends. We had great times! Great food also, of course. We also played "Woosh" and yeah, we laughed together. I will upload some of the pictures later, when I got my camera back :D

It is time for beauty sleep now. I have one good news and one bad news. Which one do you want to hear first? Anyway, I'll give the good news first. The good news is, I don't have to go to class tomorrow! The bad news is, I have to go and accomplish my duty as Asian Games City Volunteer. Argh I really hate this. I have to get up at 5 in the morning and I will get back at about 8.30 in the evening! SOMEONE, PLEASE SAVE ME!

UPDATE on Saturday, November 20, 2010

This is the pictures picture that I promised to upload. Happy go lucky! :D

A Little Escape

Whoah I was soooooooo tired. Inside and outside. My body needs to rest, my mind as well. After this whole day activities, and also the other pressures. It is now about 25 days before "The One", our Christian's comunity Christmas celebration that will be held on December 11, 2010. I have so many things on my to-do-list, and the fact is, I haven't even get any of them done!

Now I should really get myself struggling through everything. And I promised to myself that I have to get all of this done (well). I am putting my best efforts in this. And this time, I am going to give all the best I can! Speaking of struggling and stuffs, I suddenly remember one of my favorite verse of the Holy Bible :

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
-Philippians 4:16

That was the King James Version, which I like better. Really, this verse was really a magic verse. It never fails in supporting me because it really is sooo true! Hello, can you find just one thing that you can not do if JESUS is there with you? Way noooo! And this time, is just the same as the past times, I shall not fight with my own strength, but there will be JESUS to strengthen me :)

Anyway, it is just 10.57 PM but my eyes are screaming to be rested. But sorry, my dear eyes, I still need you for some important works, so you gotta co-operate well with me. Blogging makes me feel better, really. Okay, I am signing out now!

Mister Google

Good day, people! It is 12.09 PM now and I don't really have something to do. You know what, I planned to skip my China's Cultural Heritage (yes, it is) class but at the end I decided not to do so. But what happened was, I was late for more than 15 minutes, and my teacher didn't came. Purrfect!

But it does not matter at all, I went back to my dorm and I had my closet organized, and I also made my new header! It was so simple, but somehow I like it haha. While I was blog-walking, I found a quiet-interesting game (well, at least for me). It was to search your own name in Google and find out how many results that you might find. I tried mine, of course, and here is the result :

See? I got about 508 results. It is quiet fun, if you wanted to try. Beside of the results, I also found another blog that I created that even I had forgotten that I made that blog. Silly game, actually, but you may, if you wanted to try :P

Anyway, I have to attend another class at 1 and now I haven't had my lunch yet. So, I gotta go now. Have a try on the game haha! Wish me luck, guys! Take a good care of yourself! God bless yaa <3

Yeay I am finally done with my new template and background. Well I also modified some of the pages and also the sidebar. What do you think about them? Are they better than before? :)

What's On Your Mind Anyway?

Hey, I've been thinking to change my post's language to English. Does it sound better anyway? And the other thing that I planned to do is to (also) change the way I posted. From now on, I will post anything. I mean anything! If I used to post only looooong post with so many paragraphs in it,  I am going to star posting random talks and random picture(s). Well now let's press F5 for the Refresh!

Holla! See? Gampang banget kan? Malah terkesan sepele sih, tapi yah lumayan deh buat nambah-nambah pengalaman. Lagian, bukan tiap tahun kan ada acara-acara kayak gini :D

Lalala~ Together we can make it better~

Well, tapi yah tetep aja harus dinikmati sih. Namanya juga nambah-nambah pengalaman. Hehe

Well, wish me luck, guys. Take a good care of yourselves. God bless :)

Dear Octo

Well well well, it is already November! Gosh, never expected time to be that fast in walking his way.

 2. Albert's Birthday - 10 Oktober 2010
It was so cuuuute! Slurp!

3. Be Hot Or Cold - 16 Oktober 2010
Perayaan ulang tahun Youth GBI Guangzhou. Tema "Be Hot Or Cold" dipilih agar anak-anak muda ga suam-suam kuku dan tetep on fire buat Tuhan. More photos here :D

 4. Jane and Michael's Birthday - 25 Oktober 2010
The other birthday kids! Well, happy birthday, kids! Hope you all be better than before :)

5. Another Macau Trip - 28 Oktober 2010

It was really really a great October! I wished time has its "pause" button so I can keep on living in great times. Haha.

Haha. Kali ini award gue adalah "People of The Month" untuk bulan Oktober, khususnya. Meet them!

Nama     : Andreas Ho
Julukan : Muka Rocker Hati Hello Kitty
Pertama kali kenal, mukanya galak banget. Tapi ternyata kenal ga lama, lumayan bawel juga hehe. Dia sih ngaku-ngakunya doang sarjana psikologi, tapi sama cicak aja kalah :P Ga bakalan nolak kalau diajak makan Malatang. Mau jam berapapun, subuh-subuh pun kalo diajak makan Malatang, dia pasti tinggal "kem'on". Hobinya ngerjain orang.

Nama     :   Indra Baruna
Julukan : Koko Bacang
Kalau ditanya "Ko, kenapa dipanggil bacang sih?", jawaban mutlaknya adalah "Dulu keluarga saya jualan bacang" Haha padahal dipanggil begitu karena nama mandarinnya mirip sama kata bacang. Kemana-mana selalu bawa kamera gedenya yang selalu sukses bikin gue mupeng. Dia adalah salah satu alasan kenapa kita selama bulan Oktober bisa dapet banyak foto. Karena selalu ada fotografer! Haha.

Dua-duanya tipe koko idaman lho haha (loh kok jadi promosi). Well well, hope to see you soon again, koko-koko! :D

Hope you all have great days <3
